We received word today that the company that produces the DVDs was backed up. We were expecting a shipment today but now they are saying November 29th. In effect, shipping has been delayed two weeks. We apologize but it is that time of the year.

We found a page of orders that did not get shipped. All orders on that page were ordered on July 13 and 14th. So, if you placed your order on either of those days and have not received your DVD we now know why and we will be correcting that this week as soon as the new shipment of DVDs arrives. About 1,300 of the 1,500 ordered DVDs have been shipped. Provided the new shipment arrives on time this week we should have all orders filled by the end of the week. All DVDs are being shipped First Class Mail.

Shipments put on hold.

We put all shipments of the DVD on hold today. We had over 400 packaged up with labels and stamps and were headed to the post office when we received notice that it appears we received some bad DVDs.

Also, if you received a notice that your DVD has been shipped UPS, please ignore that message. Nothing has been shipped UPS, that is just a glitch in the system with Pay Pal that we are working to fix. It may take a week or so to get the replacements DVDs. We will keep you posted.

How do you know if you got one of the bad DVDs? Only a few are bad. We think we caught most of them before they were shipped but not all.

You received a bad DVD if it does not play all the way through. If the DVD hangs up or the screen goes black or partially black that is not acceptable and we will replace it. You do not need to send the bad DVD back to us, (don’t spend the money) just toss it out and send us an email with your shipping address, we will confirm your email address as having purchased and we send you a new one when the replacements arrive.

We apologize for this inconvenience, but please bear with us while we resolve this manufacturing issue. One thing is for sure, Austin is getting a real education.

Please Note: A few of you have asked about apparent pixilation on some segments of the DVD. This is due to the quality of the video segments used to create the documentary. This normal and does not mean the DVD is bad.

In an effort to deliver a more comprehensive story, Austin gathered raw video from a variety of sources, each with it's own range in resolution. Video initially captured at a lower resolution cannot be converted to a higher resolution. Despite the pixelation, Austin decided to keep a few lower resolution scenes in the final product because he felt they were integral to the story.
